Not convinced by JoB so far.
On the stream, not sure Cal Roberts has a career in commentating when he’s done.
Doesn’t seem to get the dead space cues

Excellent for the first three minutes, mainly second best for the rest of the half. Neither side really deserves to be ahead, but so far a much more watchable game than Woking. Still all to play for.

    This^^^

Looked good, missed 2 good chances, pretty much all Wood after that.

We’ve had the better chances, Enzio’s was an absolute sitter, but they’ve used the ball a lot better and found way too much space in our half to put crosses in. We always struggle against 3-5-2 for some reason.

Boreham Wood are a bizarre mix of pacy, decent players and some pub footballer physiques. Wootton’s doing well but not getting enough support from Enzio and Walker. O’Brien has been giving the ball away in dangerous areas and hasn’t done enough yet to justify his start.

We’ll need to play better in the second half to win this, for sure.

Regardless of who is the manager I've never been comfortable with this idea of changing tactics to match the opposition. If you're playing a cup match against a team from a higher league maybe, but in your own league, especially with the depth of talent we have, we should be confident enough to say "this is the way we play, and you need to worry about us".

The players were clearly feeling comfortable with the 4-2-3-1, unsurprisingly given the personnel we have, and the results were coming. If we don't win tonight, you have to question why Ardley changed a winning formula.

I think we've looked a bit sloppy in possession and been showing some poor first touches across the whole team.

Give Wolfe a run instead of JOB for the second half... throw big Sam on and change to 4-4-2 and give Wooters some help up front.

We've got to make the chances pay now. That's four really good ones so hopefully a goal for Notts will come soon.
