    I know how long it been going Des, I recall being tucked up in bed as a nipper and hearing the opening theme tune, it was only on twice a week for years as I recall, when I was growing up. And then, as I grew a little older seeing the likes of Ena Sharples on the screen, she would likely scare most kids out their wits today to the point they would require counselling, well they don’t make em like that today that is for sure. It is still very popular today I guess just a load of old nonsense, like most tv I guess.

    My original comment referred to the knowledge of those who don’t watch today’s ‘Corrie’ but are so knowledgable of the storylines and characters of today. Some closet watchers me thinks.
