What a difference a few days makes. 100% better performance against really good opposition. Everyone contributed including Kyle Vassell who rightly so was disappointed to be taken off. All he needs is a goal to kick-start his season. Goals increase confidence especially for strikers. A clean sheet to go alongside two really well worked goals.Key to the game was starting the game on the front foot instead of letting teams dictate to us.
Surprised a few with his team selection but actually got it right.
Credit to the players & the management team, a good weekend for a change.
Time for a whiskey to celebrate.

That was the best tenners worth of entertainment I have had. From start to finish every player who wore that red and white shirt gave 100% and showed us what a good football team we have at the NYS.Not one player let us down and rather than defend what we had, we were looking for more, through the constant attacking and it was so good to watch..The scoreline doesn't tell the full picture,Bristol could not have complained at a much bigger defeat. The only sad part of it all is, we could not be there to see it in person. The NewYork would have been rocking.Well done Warney and the team.

Godsend.F.C, you've enticed me to swap my choice of drink around tonight. I too will now enjoy a nice 12 year old single malt - Old Pulteney.
Smooth on the palate and malted in ex bourbon casks, it is most pleasurable to drink. I simply cannot be doing with all these throw away 'blended' whiskeys like Bells etc. There bare no comparison to a single malt. Cheers Paul Warne, I raise my glass to you tonight.

Agree with that, I’ve got a 15yo single malt from that distillery, nearly all gone sadly

Agree also on the blended, but if I had to chose one it would be Famous Grouse, or as my brother-in-law called it Farmhouse Grouse. Sadly he’s no longer with us
