That's the bit I like the most. We wouldn't be a club like this anymore we'd be a club like that. More exposure, better players, more chance of getting back if we did slip out. I wish we'd have a proper go in 97.

Steve, it’s a different place now. VAR to deal with, as well as biased reds, Massive conning of clubs by agents selling duds, and the top 6 controlling the rules and regulatory body ike never before. Keep it for me..... my neighbours in Huddersfield thought it was jealousy when I told them they’d pay for the two seasons of so called “ better players” and “More exposure”
Sure, they’d not swap seeing them in the prem “once in their lifetime., but most agree now that it hasn’t made things any better. Most agree they were sold ( and agreed to buy ) some very “poor players, on massive wages, and it’s crippled them since.

Rightly or wrongly, I’ll stick with my view. I don’t want it.
