I dont much care for the anti Yorkshire boloni that some of them come up with lol. But I suppose we all say it dont we, about other teams and/or other counties.

To be fair Derbyshire is a lovely place. It has many of the attributes that Yorkshire does but minus Sheffield though

Totally agree Flour, Derbyshire's a beautiful county and doesnt have some of the s*** tips that our glorious Yorkshire has to put up with. Although some of those strange Chesterfield fans used to be bit eggy back in the day 😉

There's also Bolsover, their version of Conisbrough.

Did you know that Conisbrough Castle was built by William de Warenne?

Isnt it funny how we take things on our doorstep for granted. If me and the missus were away at some quaint little town or village and theres a castle or a nice church we'll go and have a nosey around, read up on the history, etc.

I could walk to Conisbrough Castle, Roch Abbey and Rotherham Minster and yet I never visit them.

I walk around Wentworth a lot (my favourite part of Rotherham) but I'm going to make an effort to visit the local gems.
