Gave my views earlier. But do you know what. The last time we played hibs at home I thought we deserved at least a point. As someone mentioned. You make your own luck. So f uck them. Next 2 games at home are winnable...if we play 442.

He still cannae take a corner but I thought he played well when he came on and was significantly better than some of his most recent performances. He may yet have a future. What doesn’t, and should never have a future, is phucking fheve at the back. Ditch it Mellon. Now.
McNulty took some corners for us in a recent game. Think it was vs Sevco, or the game before that. But he delivered a few good balls into the box. I think he should be on our corners.

McMullan is gash at corners. And all deadball situations. But he made a positive difference today.

Glad that Luke Bolton has finally delivered us a goal. Was beginning to think his early promise and confidence had completely gone forever. Hopefully a goal will allow him to re-focus and make the most of his loan spell.

Yes bringing on McMullan made us massively more dangerous and creative.

Well done to Benji who was MOTM - some incredible saves.

Great to see united get a draw at a team second in the league.

On to the next one - this is a tough league this season for staying up

    Come on United !!!

Its not as tough as folk say. Harder than last year yeah, but, when we actually open up and play a more attacking formation, some teams don't like it coz they thought it would be (for them) possession possession, then attack.

Every time (might be 2 or 3) MM changes formation and tactics through necessity, it pays off nearly instantly.

We DO have the danger, we DO have a decent defence , we REALLY do have a no bad keeper,

Lets forget defending at all costs. When required yip, but over 50% nah.......... lets go for it.

The thing is we aren’t great going forward, poor defensively when exposed, so I don’t thing there is one set formation best suits us, it’s a case of mixing it to reflect standard of opposition, and getting balance in team between attack minded players and protecting defence when necessary.

We benefited from working the ball into more dangerous areas 2nd half today, but goal aside which was flukey deflection we created nowt, in fact created more first half (we still had to make those changes today). First half v rangers we were more cautious set up but we created decent chances.

McMullan is more effective in 3 behind striker, out in wing 442 he is less effective (not least crossing). Surprised we haven’t more often made the type of changes we did today and v Aberdeen in other matches when we have toiled.

At least bench stronger today, Fuchs decent again, siegrist superb, lack of creative midfielder we all know hurting us. Of our attackers mcnulty definitely the one who looks most like creating something on his own and running channels.

If we can get a couple of midfielders in next month, we can improve. Butcher dropping deep into the back 3 to get the ball just puts us on the back foot with any attack. Still think Powers should be starting ahead of him.

A creative midfielder is a priority.

I know it divides opinion and he can be inconsistent but I would have McMullen as first pick for most games. He is one of the few players we have who can make a difference.
