Sacking Bilic will prove to be about as much use as swapping deckchairs on the Titanic
WBA should have appointed Harry as manager ….Harry Potter that is !
Sam Allardyce’s Wimbledon tribute act requires an extraordinary ammount of turd polishing to have any chance of saving the Boggies got to say it was a real joy to see old pint of 'Liebraumilch’s work in progress' limping along
Sammy Lee got the call & was soon ferreting around his garage blowing the cobwebs off his training cones On Friday W B A played against the cones only to loose 0-3,
Boggies fans will have to keep shoving sharp things into their legs to prevent themselves from dropping off into coma.
Derby County’s lowest ever point tally looks in danger here
Loved the W B A 4 Villa 0 prediction seems bit early to be p!ssed though
Disappointed only winning 0-3 I was hoping to put an air of respectability to the scoreline
Has there ever been a better time to be an Albion fan ?
I think Gallagher is excellent. If you play to his strengths and maybe get Gsylr back in January, you can still do this. Alardyce has never been relegated - for a reason. He will sort you out but only been there a few days.
The Hause challenge was nearly as bad at the Livermoor one. But your player looked worse in slow motion as there was intent.
If you stay up, like us last season and build in it then you will be as lucky as we were last year.
Sheff u, Fulham, Brighton, and Burnley all look bad. Sheff u can't buy a win or a goal... Fulham just don't seem Premier league quality and then it's between you and the other 2.
Getbthe defence sorted, get a goalscorer and you'll be ok
I agree that Livermore won the ball, his foot goes straight to the to the turf as he wraps it around the ball and in the lower leagues that challenge would be a booking at worst. He appears to lunge and that's what done him, stupid decision on his part as there was no danger.
Hause in my view was slowing himself down as the ball had gone, to put the brakes on it's natural to use your heels.
It was a one-sided game and in the past Villa would have become more desperate to secure the points leaving ourselves open on the break, your lot defended pretty well I thought as SJ didn't have to make too many saves despite the almost relentless pressure. Your best chance of survival is to buy a target man and go direct.
That's a constructive post Sam and you make some good points.
Whilst Alardyce hasn't been relegated it still doesn't mean he wont be. That said, we've a transfer window and still plenty to play for along with several teams who as you rightly say are poor.
I think the difference between yourselves and us if you're looking at last season, Villa spent big and threw a lot of players together quickly. Yes, some were not good signings but you signed some decent players who now they've gelled are playing some decent football.
We don't have that quality so the crux of it for me is who Big Sam can bring in and whether we can find takers for those we desperately need out. Like yourselves were, we are saddled with useless owners we need rid of before anything changes significantly which is easier said than done.
Time will tell.
There is no doubt that Villa are a decent side. I don't think that they will be top six but top half certainly. Even if we'd had eleven men I couldn't see us getting anything out of the game. Sam has got a huge job on his hands and if I'm honest the odds must be against him succeeding. This is not pessimism, just a realistic assessment of the present situation. Sincerely hope that I'm proved to be wrong.
Livermore should have know that you can't get away with that in the Premier League. He deserved to go. I think with many of these things the key word is intent. Livermore committed a reckless lunge whereas Hause whilst it looked like a red at first glance wasn't.
