    O/T Turkey For Christmas?

It is for us. Im not fussed about Turkey but its traditional and all that. Ive had goose 2 years back but wasn't stuck on it. Turkey for anyone else? Or maybe something entirely different?

Rarely have it Phil, like you we aren't fan's of it so not going to pay extortionate prices for something nobody wants for the rest of the year.

    That’ll be lamb, then?

    Or maybe mutton?

I like Turkey but only when cold.

Love a Turkey sandwich but would rather have chicken for dinner.

    Most people avoid ‘cold turkey’!

Joint of Lamb for us. We are not meat eaters, perhaps a couple of lamb dinners a month.
I love the veg and all the trimmings more.

Christmas dinner with my Mum before I was married was scampi and chips, about 6pm after getting back from the annual champagne party!

Do you know i have never tried mutton. I love lamb but usually in June with new potatoes on a Thursday tea time.
We usually have a joint of beef and pork for Yule, but this year we are having stew.

It'll be turkey at my daughters but to be honest I not bothered about it. Pretty nondescript and generally boring. I always thought eating cardboard must be much like this. Give me beef, gammon or pork with crackling on any time.
