    Naughty Trippier

England international Kieran Trippier has been hit with a 10 week football ban and a hefty fine after being proven of reaching the Football Association's betting rules.

The former Burnley defender, currently playing in La Liga for Atletico Madrid, has been fined £70,000 after four of the seven breaches against him were proven by an independent regulatory commission.

Trippier had denied seven charges in total and the remaining three were dismissed during subsequent personal hearing.

The ban becomes effective today meaning Trippier will be unable to feature for his club or country again until February 28.

Maybe not, but he's twice the right-back who's replaced him at Tottenham. Why Mourinho perseveres with that donkey Aurier, I've no idea.
