Ah canna be arsed wi the cookin a hale bird ****e .... in recent years, Ah've gone for breast fillets or boneless thigh ... and done hunter's, lemon, mushroom etc ...
This year, Ah'll hae 3 guests wi different preferences ... so 3 different chicken preparations ... aa usin cheap frozen chicken breast.
Starter ..... a light onion and red pepper soup/consomme.
Main ....
Sweet chilli chicken (Maggi cook-in-the-bag-mix)
Honey and Mustard (Chicken tonight)
Oven roasted chicken breast dressed wi olive oil, salt, paprika and Italian herb mix.
Halloumi tray bake, Roast Carrots and Parsnips, Green beans, Bacon wrapped sausages coated wi caramelised maple syrup (first time ... winna be the last!! ), Mashed tatties (Aldi, 2.5kg for 4p!!
), Roasted tatties (oot o the bag), Sage an' onion stuffin balls.... and ... gravy.
Puddin .... slab o' cherry madeira cake alongside a plonkin o' rasp jeely, droont wi vanilla yoghurt and topped (optionally) wi chocolate peanuts and/or mandarin oranges.
