Should he stay or should he go ....?
Thoughts please.
GO
i just dont think he is the type of manager that can work on reduced budgets so its a go for me ,we need a battle hardened manager who can put the fear into his players when angry and also put an arm round the shoulders when needed aswell ,and a good gift of the mouth ,that type gets players respect which gets results that holt that has just been sacked by livi is one of those types i reckon and proven to get success out of smallish budgets .
Today's D and G Standard sports page headline '' I'm ready to ring the changes - Queens boss looking for new blood '' I would imagine there would have to be a few departures in January window before Magic is allowed to bring in new recruits.
the trouble is there is plenty of players out there that fall under queens budget requirements but hardly any of them are of good enough quality for championship level ,hes only going to get in similar quality for whoever departs ,there will be the odd young diamond out there but i dont think magic has the eye to notice these talents .
I would find it hard to give Johnston any more money to spend.
We were going down last season and the same is happening again this all be it with a even worse squad.
Whoever is in charge, we will be expecting them to work miracles. We can't carry on like we are. We build a squad which just can't compete at this level
Do we know how much it would cost us for Johnston to go? May unfortunately be cheaper to keep them until the end of the season.
If he isn't sacked by the 1st of January that's a clear indication by the BOD they have confidence he's still the man for the job and can turn it around.
Either that or they are happy just to settle to what ever natural position we will finish in.
It's becoming clear there are only two teams we have any chance to take points from, Alloa and Arbroath.
Is he not away yet??
