My sons were 11 and 12 in 1983 when we took them to Dens and saw us win the league. The memories of the great years under Jim is something we will remember for ever. I remember there was an incident I think with reporters at the airport and he was going to resign. I wrote him a letter begging him not to and was surprised when I got a phone call from him late one night saying he and Doris were touched by the letter and it would be in the paper next morning that he was staying.
