I think when you get to 60 y/o it’s only natural to start thinking about “what might have been”. I do this at some point every day - then I give myself a a verbal “kick up the a***” and tell myself how lucky I really am. For some reason Phil’s Dead-o-Meter post a a few months ago truly resonated with me. According to that “death predictor” I would live to 86 y/o which I would take tbh. And assuming good health, a strong family and financial stability .... then there are so many things I still want to do or see ... sadly seeing the Albion win anything will unlikely to be one of them....

There are so many people worse off ..... as brought home to me when I saw this poor girl selling the Big Issue in freezing cold on Winchcombe high street yesterday ..... whilst cheerily wishing every passerby a Happy New Year .... sometimes you need to be thankful for the hand life dealt you ....
