I'm not a big fan of Andy Carroll. He doesn't look mobile enough for me.

Not a fan of Carroll either and he will be another Sturridge - in the treatment room more than on the pitch. Don’t like gambles so we need to pay the going rate or we could get a Grant mark 2!!!

A fit .... and I stress fit ..... Andy Carroll would be an asset compared with what we have. Always a threat and surprisingly skilful for a big target man. Snodgrass too would add some bite to our midfield. Recall we were looking at Snodgrass at the same time as Livermore when Hull went down. Two strong characters for sure to strengthen the resolve of our Snowflake Squad ..... it might not work ... but something would happen ..... go for it BS

The problem is that we need too many quality players to make us into a side capable of staying in this league. At present we are a team devoid of confidence, identity, togetherness, fight and sadly the skill. In my opinion there are too many positions that need strengthening for us to have a chance of staying up. I accept that on a few occasions we haven't had the 'rub of the green' but basically we are too easy to beat and unfortunately, are not good enough. If Sam can pull it off and keeps us up, I will be truly amazed.

I don’t have a problem as such with Snodgrass just is does he play in the position where we most need to prioritise.

As I understand it we can only get 1 extra UK loan player plus someone from overseas. I would have thought we must get a decent centre half and someone who knows where the net is, in that order.

Snodgrass always reminds me of a slightly younger Chris Brunt but as others have said we need so many positions improved that it is hard to suggest where to start because I can’t see us buying anyone. That said for me priority is to stop letting in so many goals.

I really wanted us to sign Snodgrass a few seasons ago. I hope he does something for us, just wish we could get the players we want in their prime instead of at the tail end of their careers. Would be nice.

From a personal perspective I wouldn't mind having Snodgrass down the Albion but not Carroll , their has to be better player elsewhere???? Surely.
