Normally the club would try hard to get a game on, with fans there as there would be money to be made. At the moment, it's just a huge cost, surely? The match can be played Tuesday, I don't see the big deal to be honest, given the farmers are just coming from Perth.
Dens Park i have heard is looking perfect according to a BBC Scotland reporter at the ground so i agree with you.The question is though is this,is it mandatory to use your undersoil heating and can you be charged if you fail to do so?.

One thing i do remember from a years ago is funnily enough Livingston when they had a grass pitch in the Championship point blank refused to put on their undersoil heating as it was not financially viable with the crowds they got.

I don't think the rules specifically mention undersoil heating but rather pitch protection. Seems a pretty grey area I think.

What if it's yet again freezin' on Tuesday tho triple T ? Will the under-soil heating be put on midday, late afternoon , or, just after the latest fitness test ?

With no fans, as you correctly mention, there might be no hurry to put the game on.

And............ unless they helicopter in, that road can be an absolute nightmare when cald.

A bitter cold spell forecast in the last third of the month, so they better get it sorted.

TV money is most likely the reason that Dundee will have put theirs on.

At one time it was the Chairman's wife's drawers that were used. They did eventually put in undersoil heating when they got promoted.
