[QUOTE=ramAnag;39670659]The Israelis seem to be showing the way with what looks like ‘drive thru’ facilities. They’ve done 20% already in three weeks.

As ever...brilliant logistics but dubious morality in relation to the Palestinians, although that might be an oversimplification.[/QUOTE

Israel is quite unique as a country, basically they've ridden roughshod over every other country to get the vaccine first, then they have a much higher proportion of their country with military experience and training and therefore, are able to mobilise a vaccination force or any other force pretty rapidly.

They have a much higher sense of unity and compliance, compared with other countries.

Interesting Ram...really surprising figures, I think only the two Koreas and Cuba (?) have a greater % of trained soldiers, in relation to the size of population, than Israel.
We do have a quarter of a million of some sort of soldiers though. Must admit I’d rather be jabbed by a trained nurse than some hairy arsed soldier boy, but if this really is a race between the vaccine and the virus maybe it’s a case of needs must...assuming we have enough vaccine of course.

P.S. Two gorillas in San Diego zoo have apparently tested positive for Covid. Really not good.

Try getting one of those feckers to wear a mask when they get the MTS down to the Piggly Wiggly. Be almost as difficult as persuading shorts in winter man to do so
