Hang on. When has he tried to ‘impose’ his views? He’s just passed comment hasn’t he?
He’s not a newsreader or a political commentator...he’s just a minor celebrity/DJ/comedian who interviews other more major celebrities.
Does that disqualify him in some way from holding an opinion? All he’s done is made an observation which some will find funny and others, on the other side of the political divide, apparently won’t.
I beg to differ. Could be argued that you have no ‘actual value add to offer’ - although I’m not quite sure what that means - but you’ve had plenty to say about, for instance, Cocu, Rooney and Morris.
They ‘can’t fight back’ either but the price of having a ‘high profile’ is that you attract criticism and Priti Patel is hardly one of the vulnerable.
He's a cheap tacky comedian, who because of good fortune gets to have his views aired by the media. Perhaps I should get a ticket for one his shows and get on stage and slag him off in front of a live audience.
But I'm sure, I'd be 'escorted' away. These people, some overpaid by ourselves, forcibly, by the BBC, are so up themselves, they think that there views deserve a wider audience than ours do.
Hmmm...that’s your opinion, which you’ve expressed on here quite forcefully. Apparently you don’t like him being rather less ‘forceful’ about a controversial Cabinet Minister.
He’s not stirring up hatred or picking on the weak. Don’t quite ‘get’ your issue...you don’t like him or his sentiment, you’ve made that crystal clear...I’m not his greatest fan either, but all he’s doing is making an observation about a topical public figure.
He’s funnier and more newsworthy than you or I, but, beyond that, how do you know what he thinks his views ‘deserve’.
