Well if Lai is DESPERATE to sell then he should cut his losses, accept an inferior offer and eff off!

I’ve done some of my own due diligence on this Mark Campbell character.
To say I’m underwhelmed is an understatement, if you think Lai is bad then be careful what you wish for.
This has “Chancer” written all over it and I kid you not when I say that I believe me and BaggieAl would be able to bring more to the table than this bloke.
You heard it here first......this is NOT the right person for us to be pinning our hopes on.
Remember what happened to Portsmouth?
This would be chapter two.
So, with every passing defeat, the value of the club diminishes! The best scenario for Lai getting the deal he wants is for the pandemic to force the curtailment of the season, all null and void. We would then be back to square one as a ‘new’ Premier League club. Although I don’t see that happening, it is, nevertheless, a possibility. The real question is how much Lai will drop as regards the price. Unless that aforementioned scenario comes to pass, we will be a Championship club next season and what that will mean for the club is anyone’s guess. I suspect that there are more ‘disappointing’ outcomes, as far as we are concerned, than a future of sweetness and delight.
Based on an admittedly very quick online search about half an hour ago which lasted as long as a flat, uninspiring lager and a tiny scarf which would have struggled to keep Action Man warm; I'm inclined to agree. If there are any legs to this link I'm hoping they're shorter than our illustrious owners legs. Worrying rumblings on top of troubling times.
Just hope we don’t go the same way as Bolton. Traditional, historic community club, locally owned and managed. Some success even in the Premier league era and punching above their weight for sometime.
However, eventually unable to get enough quality buys to keep the club in the PL and then unable to recover. Now find themselves well in the bottom half of Division 2 with an outside chance of National league next year.
Happy New Year everyone!
