johnny queens are ran by penny pinchers ,its a total joke how some of you queens fans can accept mere survival ,queens are going to be left with the bare diehards at this rate and thay are dieing off ,i can see this club coming to an end under this current regime ,if things get to tough for this lot queens will end up getting wound up and next you will see houses built where palmy once stood ,our current board are killing the club off queens name means next to nothing these days in the town ,something drastic needs done in the near future after this covid crap gets out the way .

You really have severe issues with the BOD’s at Palmerston especially Billy Hewitson. To suggest they don’t put any of their own money into the club is utter nonsense.

If you think signing players like Stephen Dobbie, renovating the old Tesco store into the hugely successful Queens Arena and taking over the KGV facility and Lochmaben Community Centre is lacking ambition them maybe you should go support someone else.

johnny go into all the finances made available at all the agm nights and show me the proof of anyone donating cash to the club from our current board ,then tell me after all these projects the areana ,kgv ,lochmaben ,and whatever else ,what has it showed on the footballing side ,queens are in massive decline on the park no investment is going in to improve the playing squad year after year ,thats the area that needs the investment ,since the building of these facilities it was suppose to have generated cash to push the club forward ,iv not seen this yet ,so either these facilities are operating at a loss or the profits are going elsewhere ,if queens want to attract the floating fans back first team need improved enough to be challenging at the top end consistantly and showing in the cups .

and johnny i dont have any issues with hewitson or the board ,but whoever is incharge of queens no matter if its hewitson or richard branson as long as these people are at the helm thay have lots to answer too especially if there on the tight side with cash ,the way i see it we have people running the club that aint got the clout to push a football club on therefor questions are asked .

That's harsh Johnny. Why should he not question the board and still support the club?. The man is showing some concerns for a club he loves. The board run the club but should never be immune to criticism when needed. Comments like go and support someone else suggest that unless you agree with what the board are doing he shouldn't be following queens. As for the gov and lochmaben community centre, I was always of the impression qos got these for 1 pound so they took on the running of the facilities. And as for the arena, ask some of the businesses in there where there rent gets paid to?

yes fatfan the cheek and insults start coming when thay dont have the answers and when people have a differed opinion to them ,il always respect the other guys opinions cause thats what a forum is all about ,i have real concern about the future of queens under this regime atm the clubs future is getting grimmer by the season unless the board show some sort of move forward to get the dumfries public talking .
