It would require a 5 or 6 of the teams under us to all collect more pts than us and then some between now and May for us to be bottom two, not saying it can't happen but nothing suggests we will stop picking up pts, ppl forget we have won 4 of our last 7 at home losing just to rangers and are drawing most away games, next two are at home and are both winnable

Infact it's only really Rangers and Celtic we have lost two in the last four months (apart from the loss at in form Livi)

We've drew twice at Hamilton and beat them at home, if we are bottom six then they come back to Tannadice after the split

I'd be far more concerned if I was a Hamilton or Motherwell fan just now, especially as they are no longer getting those 3 nil wins handed to them, they'll need to earn every point they get, like everyone else
A win vs St. Mirren will be very close to guaranteeing us surviving automatic relegation. It's a massive game, as is the next month. We're playing all the teams around us except Hibs. Assuming we won't take 3 points from Hibs, if we don't get a win from St. Mirren, Motherwell or County, it'll be squeaky bum time.

Stats from today's game - Clark had a 39% pass completion rate. Compare that to 83% of Powers and it shows just how bad he was.

It's nae the best. But for me staying up. Outside the play off spot would do me. Take it from there. For those of a certain vintage. The first few years under Jim were a hard watch.

Personally, I think getting all 3 points vs StMirren would stand us in very good stead, and allow us to take on the next 3 games without so much pressure. We should be targeting a win in this game. If Fuchs is back, I reckon that is well within our capabilities to get all three points.

We are what we are this season - due to circumstances we all know too well.

Getting through to the end of this season without being involved in relegation or play-offs would be a great achievement given the current climate in Scottish Football.

Agree with all of this. Top six would be incredible for our first season back but the main goal has always been avoiding relegation and I think we will.

We need to remember that Fuchs hasn't played for a good few weeks now so may be lacking match sharpness, as well as the fact that they were talking about possible knee ligament damage not so long ago and he's supposed to be have been seeing specialist but hasn't been able to. He apparently "feels ok" now but can't imagine him being immediately up to the standard we saw in his last couple of games.

A 50% Jeando Fuchs would be a better option than Nicky 'midfield maestro' Clark.

This negative style of play is really boiling my p ish now. How many times did smith get down wing to the edge of the box in both the saints game and yesterday to only check back and pass back instead of firing in a cross. How many times did we have the ball at the edge of the box in both games and continue with the tippy tappy nonsense! Instead of taking a gamble and putting the laces through it. Defensively we have shown we can handle most teams. Now let’s f ucking start making keepers work.

Nicky seems to be this weekend's fall guy & ironically when all the forums were delighted about his contract extension amidst the rumour about him crossing the Rubicon. My take on it that he's not very good & also should NOT be our go-to dead ball man. I've thought that for a couple of years even tho I didn't come out & say it. I don't normally criticise our players, no matter how sh!te they might be.
