I have always envied the FOH(Hearts)and felt it gave them an advantage over other clubs especially in these Covid times.I have signed up for a small monthly direct debit payment.
The board and the manager signing up has definitely influenced my decision.
Not me, I contribute to ArabTRUST and with that and my season ticket, 50/50’s, merchandise oot the club shop, hospitality, club functions, bevvy and pehs in the Heggie Lounge, they kunts get mare money out of me than I pay my ex in maintenanceenough is ephukinnuff!
I signed up after reading Ogren, Tony and MM had signed up. Had been thinking about it since before Christmas and this for me provide the impetus to do so.
Sorry that definitely doesn't encourage me at all. In fact the opposite.
I believe that fan groups should exist solely for the club’s supporters to exert their opinions, who otherwise wouldn’t have any means of influence. I’m of the opinion that people with vested interests e.g. Ogrens, Asghar, etc should not be members or influential within fan groups or perhaps impose their own agendas on them but should be willing to work in tandem with them. The fact that the chairman etc. are now members of DUSF, in my opinion, defeats the purpose of that group existing. The DUSF need to be 100% independent of the club. Imagine if the likes of ST, Martin etc. were involved.
What happens when the Ogrens do decide to take profits from the club when it suits them, as they said they would. Would the DUSF members not have a different agenda?
Bit like having your cake and eating it.
I would be over the FN moon if our main debate on here is whether we agree on the Ogren's taking profit out of the club.My main concern at the moment is having a club to watch once the pandemic is over.
I really don't think enough supporters in Scotland realise how precarious a position most of their clubs are in,especially clubs from 5th to 12th in the Premiership.
