Well Tom English , Charlie Adam and Darryl Broadfoot were on.. talking about a statement Tony Asghar had made about it being unfair that the Govt weren't bailing out football clubs more.. Tom English pointing out that it was a bit rich that last accounts (June 2019) had Utd spent 133% of turnover on wages.. They got a guy from one of the Utd supporter groups on .. anyway he was making excuses for Asghar because Asghar was just being naive and instead of Govt offering loans to Premiership clubs they should be giving grants ... saying it was unfair clubs from Championship down got grants.. he said Utd had been unfairly treated because they got promoted.. English ripped into him saying Utd now got a cut of the Sky deal.. also reiterated that Utd were spending too much on wages and had brought more players since the last accounts published.. so, presumably were spending even more.. someone said the Yank who owns them now has to write a large cheque every month to keep them afloat.. Then this Utd guy has a pop at "the wee team up the road" getting a grant when they were too inefficient to get promoted.. sorta saying failure was being rewarded. Charlie didn't like that and pointed out he'd never seen a club of Utd's stature with so many staff members behind the scene.. that's the main gist that I remember..

Why are you relying on a Dee for your reply? Did you not listen yourself?

Also I watched the Asghar interview and he never referred to Dundee as a "wee team up the road"

Who was the "guy from one of the supporter groups" who was on the show?

Genuine questions, hopefully you can help me out with the answers.

Can't edit the above, but did you actually hear the United fans rep use the words "wee team up the road"?

So basically we had on the show -

English- hates Utd from the Bride of Chucky shenanigans
    Broadfoot - Hun. ‘Nuff said.
    Adam - Funster

Yes, all fair and balanced in the best traditions of the BBC.

Thanks Terry. I was invited on the show basically because neither Tony Asghar himself nor none of the folk at DUSF had the courage to face the panel of guests.

One thing doing a friendly chat on DUTV with the amiable Sean Dillon another scenario challenging PR professionals like Broadfoot about poor financial management.

As I said earlier Arabs need to smell the coffee
