None of those players have a proven track record at this level of banging in goals. Wooton scored a few when Roberts was feeding him Knowles and Sam who knows really but there is potential and Effiong will get 15 a year at this level over a season, good but not prolific and needs game time when game time well who knows!

Effiong had nothing to do with Football Radar. That was an Ardley signing. In fact, bar Sam and Rodrigues... I'm struggling to see which signings the radar brought in?

Roberts was only playing a league below us and banging in the goals for Blyth - not sure we'd need Football Radar to be aware of him. I'm guessing he was on quite a few clubs' radar at the time, especially after being released by Newcastle not long before that.

I think this is very much the management's squad. Obviously Radar screen the signings, but i think their impact on this side so far has been minimal.

Since Football Radar became involved at the club (to extent nobody seems to know) it's very difficult to know who led/instigated each signing as shown in KCs correct use of ???

It's mainly guesswork and KCs guesses are basically as good as anyone's.

I hope Football Radar is responsible for more of the good ones than Ardley/Abbott for the obvious reason. Overall the recruitment has been improved on previous seasons/regimes

I would say Wootton, Miller, Rawlinson and Lacey would have been non Radar at first but more likely scouted from within. There's no argument that Ardley has had a hand in plenty of those signings . . . marks out of ten for each signing what would we give them?

I agree with MancMagpie I don't think we need a replacement, albeit that depends on when Roberts is likely to be fully fit again.

The Ardley/Football Radar combined recruitment has been impressive overall so if they do seek a replacement then yes. More faith now than with previous managers when it comes to recruitment.

We’re a big club in non league with a big budget compared to most. Of course our recruitment should be good. I’m not as convinced as you that it is good though.
