How long are you happy to "lockdown" for.....next year, year after, a decade.....indefinely.....until someone tells you to?
I meant deeranged, not you. Although I could have meant Dougie trump, both avoid answering questions

I value freedom more than most, probably fortunate that lockdown has not been a problem for me generally.

Financially,it's a nightmare, but apart from that,I am fortunate the circumstances dictate my lockdown is easier than most

The question you asked was pointless and answers itself.

Why do governments want to control the population?

    a. That's what they're there for.
    b. They have the power of propaganda and need to know it still works.
    c. If the **** ever really does hit the fan and a virus that actually kills people regardless of health, age or fitness they need to know we'll accept the restrictions and behave responsibly.

That was not the question. And it's not the answer either.

Who why,and what do they gain? Boris has seen what happened to trump, and knows this going badly will do the same to him. So he has nothing to gain.

    Want another go?

FFS keep up; last time - government, they need to feel in control and they gain kudos because the propaganda machine (AKA main stream media) tells the gullible they're doing a sterling job. Result - they get voted back in to start the cycle again.

Having done some actual research into this (not just twitter), there were less cancer deaths in E&W in 2020 than 2019.

Because covid killed them first. But we just ignore them because 'conditions'.

Did you hear about the 46-year old perfectly healthy guy who died from covid this week? The virus you're talking about is what happens in films, get a grip, eh. Or as in the case of Ebola, it kills too quickly to spread through an entire population.
