    That's ****.
If people already receiving cancer treatment were told not to come back for more because of covid, you'd think that would make the national news instead of just the conspiracy theory nutters on Twitter. It certainly would in Scotland where the press are desperate for bad news stories.

"A spokesperson for the NHS in England said: “Data for health service usage show a strong rebound in patients coming forward for check ups and treatment. The ONS report today has not found evidence of significantly increased cancer mortality, with Covid-protected cancers hubs in place and almost 30,000 people starting cancer treatment in March."

That's from June 2020 and covers the months where the covid-deniers actually acknowledge there was a pandemic in the UK.

One of the 1st docs on msm about cancer patients treatment being delayed was panorama.

Women died, quite a well known blogger on her cancer treatment.

If you don't think services, treatments and clinics have been cancelled, delayed or even abandoned then there's no much more to say really, if you dont think people have died or will die because of this then I'm sorry for you.

Surely treatments for cancer and other chronic conditions haven't been reduced?

Do you have evidence that people who were receiving treatment for cancer are now being denied it? Evidence is always good, you should try it sometime.

We're talking about cancer treatment being stopped because of covid. Why don't you look out the stats that show a huge increase in cancer deaths in the UK in 2020 to back up your case?

I've read a number of stories about cancer being left undiagnosed because screening services were cancelled, it is tragic. I also read a lot of stories about people with cancer dying from covid not being important because they had a pre-existing condition. Weird how the first group get sympathy but not the latter.

" we stayed at home to protect the NHS. We flattened the curve but the knock on effect was a death sentence for thousands of cancer patients"

Debbie James, panorama investigating govt policy on cancer patients.

"My friend Kelly Smith (31) died 13/6/20 after Chemo was stopped"

"She was brave, she was bonkers hilarious and kind - a mum to Findlay (6) a daughter, sister and friend:

Nut at the end of her life she was angry and afraid and blamed covid govt policy"

Scientists estimate that cancer may take 35000 lives prematurely because of lockdown.

A truly frightening estimate. Would be good to compare that number with excess deaths in 2020 but I can't find that information for some reason.

35,000 is already over 33% of the 100,000 deaths claimed to have been caused 'directly by' Covid the other day to date but obviously once the true details come to light I'd imagine the residual cancer and other chronic condition deaths, caused directly by lockdown, will exceed 50% of those caused directly by Covid - that'll be a cracking result for lockdown.

See this tik tok video stuff a couple of u guys on here like to keep mentioning (no a big fan of them myself to be honest) then claim you like to deal in facts I don’t know the facts regarding how many nurses were involved in tik tok videos but I would guess a very very small percentage, yet you seem to still use it as a stick to beat them with, can’t really see the need for it myself, but everybody to their own

cancer is a cause. The effect is liver/heart/lung/blood/brain failure or skin tissue that then degraded the whole immune system. I wont say there are any parralels with covid because we dont know but when someone catches this and their lungs degrade to a level of being put in a coma, fair to say the cause was covid and not natural causes. Alternatively, we could say the lungs packed up it could happen to anyone they were old and would have died anyway?

I mention it now and again because it keeps getting put out there that the NHS is so overstretched.

I mentioned it this time as tainted brought it up.

I take you're point, won't mention it again unless of course it starts up again.
