Many might go for Shilton, although I think his kicking would have restricted him in the modern game. Personally I think Poom, but he wasn’t immune to error, and I did have a lot of time for ‘shorty’ Martin Taylor.
you want other opinions? Colin Boulton. Unbelievable considering he was quiet short even by 70's standards at 510/511. Happy to take it in the face all day long, although I grant you his cross-stopping abilities were shielded a bit by the imperious MacFarland
