I don't think that Freeman is guilty of a failure to deliver. She is a spokesperson and I don't think she had a hope in hell trying to keep to that target. As long as she stays in place she is a lightning conductor to keep Nicola out of some of the day to day stuff. Just like Swinney is taking all the flak for education and anything else. Boris is served in much the same way by Hancock at Health and Williamson at Education.
As for the reason that Cherry was sacked I think she had a view that was not party policy and she was well able to argue the rights of her position. As you and I know there are topics that people can't even agree to disagree. Nicola has the power and she used it. I think it was a mistake but perhaps the reason for Cherry's )dismissal had more to do with her leadership ambitions than the stated reason.

Jane Freeman is only remaining as Cabinet secretary for Health because she has announced that she is stepping down at the Scottish Government elections this year and not standing for re-election.
    She has been a disaster.
Nicola was the Cabinet secretary for Health from May 2007.

Trying to send an innocent (if an arse of a man) to jail for the rest of his days when she knew of his innocence and was told the prosecution would fail is far far far more important.

Her man is up to his neck in this and she ain't far behind.

Can't wait for Salmond to appear......

    Goooooood morning Vietnam.😁

Think sacking Cherry shows poor judgement on the part of the SNP leadership. She is a very able MP and would have been a much better leader of the Westminster MPs than the current one.
Anyone would have been a better leader of the SNP Westminster MPs than Blackford, even Stewart Hosie.

We had an excellent profit sharing scheme in the Bank of Scotland until 2001 when Gordon Brown who was Chancellor of the Exchequer ended profit sharing schemes and brought in bonus schemes.
The Bank of Scotland profit sharing scheme only paid out if the bank made a minimum of 17% profit at the end of a financial year on the gross capital employed.
Bonus schemes paid out as long as staff reached their laid down targets even if their company made a loss.
It was crazy and ill thought by a chancellor of the exchequer who sold the U.K. government stock of gold at the bottom of the market.
Gordon Brown also crucified the pension schemes and non taxpayers by ending their ability to reclaim tax credits on dividends.
Gordon Brown will go down in history as the most incompetent U.K. government Chancellor of the Exchequer in history.
Already said I despise him so give him any labels you like. It was New Labour who put in place deregulation which caused the UK financial crash which led to huge bailouts and massive job losses and the UK deficit going sky high as he tried to spend his way out of the slump, so yes, worst ever. Still doesn't mean the severity of tory cuts and victimisation of the most vulnerable was justified when they were throwing tax cuts at their supporters.

Why did Nicola Sturgeon take out an injunction in February 2017 to stop the U.K. newspapers and U.K. media publishing articles about her ***uality.
In February 2017 the leaders of the Conservative, Labour and Green parties in Scotland were all gay.
Only Willie Rennie leader of the Scottish Lib Dem’s is straight.
Nicola’s injunction is for the U.K. only and it does not include comments on social media.

    They were the winners biffo.

Apparently there was auditions and then heats and then Simon Cowell turned up to judge the winners.

Xmas record on the way and nurses choir to tour vaccination centres to sing and dance for folk queuing at vaccination centres, which in Scotland should give them work to April 2023.😁
