Seems so Mal.
What on earth is going on at Gswthorpe all week ? There is a target 100 yards away , 8 feet high and 8 yards wide . SD could not have watched Sheff Utds valiant effort at the Etihad last week. At least they had a good go at it .Are we saving it all up for Brighton this weekend. ? I think tonight is a case of softly, softly, and don’t get injured .
Seems so Mal.

spare a thought for the keepers...
In Sean Dyche's words, we have spent the equivalent of the price of a bag of chips on our entire squad.
Chelsea and Citeh have chucked a couple of billion quid at their current squads.
It's not really rocket science is it that we can't compete?
A bag of chips are hot when you get them ! We’ve been blowing cold for too long.
We could have gone for it with a 4-4-3 as has been suggested, we would probably still have been beaten but we would have gone down fighting and perhaps even have scored a goal. We were at home, we should have been going for it, especially after we got that result at Anfield, it shows we are capable of more, obviously more than Dyche believes.
Unfortunately, negativity in our play has been the style over the Dyche era, waiting for a breakaway or set piece to enable us to score a goal.
The problem now is that our playing squad is aging and those breakaway moments are becoming less frequent as the years go on. The only thing happening to our squad is more frequent injuries, which does come with aging.
It is fairly obvious that only certain types of player are considered by Dyche to be worthy of a starting place and this has been noticed throughout the footballing world, therefore we are unlikely to attract players with flair as they know that is not in the Burnley style.
While I would have liked to see some additional players during the last transfer window I certainly did not want to see more of the same as players who have reached the twilight of their careers, which is what we have seen recently.
As I said in another post there is a lot of rubbish talked about player needing to Dyche fit, yet it was obvious tonight that our fittest player was way below that of Manchester City’s players. While I do not expect our players to have the same technical ability of the City player’s we should be able to match them for fitness. Yes, all our players put in a good shift but they were definitely outpaced and out classed in every department.
The way BFC has been managed over the last two or three years is disgraceful in respect of the playing side. What is needed is a big change from top to bottom and those who are unable or to stubborn to change should be dispensed with at the earliest opportunity.
