I disagree with you, it was a difficult chance for any pro footballer and neither Costa or Roberts did anything wrong.

They continually showed for the ball, attempted to put challenges in, tracked their men, kept attacking and taking players on and tried to get crosses in. Didn't see anything negative about either players performance tonight.

Good game for the neutral, unfortunately I’m not feeling very neutral.

    We'll agree to differ then.

No problem with that, different views and discussing them well, is part of the joy with football 😀

    Indeed.

One of those games - played some fabulous stuff but couldn’t get it across the line.

Sloppy goals to concede but the energy and
    Mojo seems to be back.

Fulham losing did us a big favour.

If only we could have saved one of the goals from Sunday for ......

Encouraging signs we may pick up as many points 2nd half of the season as we did first half.

    Pitch didn’t look worth £300k 🙁

    Not sure I agree.
What if you’re posting the same message after the Palace game.
Sorry, but I’m sure a few have noticed, I don’t like getting beat, and the fact that we played well, doesn’t help.

Agreed Billy but good to see us on better form again. Truth of this season is we will never win as many as we did on the EFL.

Bielsa quoted as saying post Leicester - in the EFL we had to work hard to prove we were the best - in the premier league we have to work hard just to keep up.

Have you been drinking meths? Costa was he usual woeful self - I really don't see the point of even bringing him on. Roberts was marginally better but you just knew he was going to sky that late shot into row Z. Pablo gave away several sloppy passes and even though he chased back one of his mistakes he then seemed to give up and Calvert Lewin ghosted past him and should have scored their third.

Raphinha was brilliant; both in attack and chasing back (which he does MUCH better than Costa). He combines well with Ayling. Our game plan should simply have been to give him the ball at every opportunity. I thought Struijk played quite well - apart from falling asleep for their opener. Cooper had one of his better games in recent times.

Overall, a few bad mistakes and we gave ourselves a lot to do but we gave it a good go in the 2nd half and, but for their keeper, would have got at least the point we deserved.

Pitch looked like an ice rink.
