The facts will change, just my opinion. If you listen to the MSM they are full of experts who are all basically speculating about the possible effects of the virus changing. This has happened for over a century with flu, is still the case today and there is never any mention of the endemic nature of flu. I know covid 19 is not the same as flu but the principle is the same.
There is also the principle of actually finding a cure, or medication that will make an attack of covid 19 much less harmful. Once the scientists find a way of proving that the threat of covid 19 has been reduced to comparable to flu I think we will be fine and I am much more positive about the future. Kind of like wanting McPake to be a successful Dundee manager.

In a way, I think that your cynicism about the official figures is a good thing. If there was no alternative view it would be difficult to hope for a change of approach from those who are in charge.
