I have never known a guy on here wind so many others up, it's quite amusing and often boring.
I love how basic DavyFacts is. You get some very simplistic views on here but he's on another level.
There is no middle ground, you are either totally anti-Ardley or Pro-Ardley, you either post negative comments or positive ones but never both! That's not allowed. There are many nominees but he's definitely a front runner for #noagenda's Poster Boy although Ken runs him close.
Basically there is a group who predicted we would be further down the league at this stage , pray each night that the owners would sack him after Swindon game, Harrogate game, any game and are desperate. Now they've finally caught up with the rest of us knowing that it was highly unlikely that the owners would sack him during this season they are forced to wait until the end of the season.
I'm sure the majority of the #noagenda crew have the same belief that no promotion = get rid. Promotion = he stays. If the so Pro-Ardley Poster Boy has been saying this for a long long time now, it really does illustrate NCMs negative bias or maybe the #angrymob are just more vocal. Grrrrrrrr!!?
The likelihood, the shorter odds are that we won't get promoted. I fully expect Davy et al to claim some sort of weird victory and say I told you he wouldn't get us promoted even though it was always the most likely outcome. At least a Notts manager had enough time to fail (or succeed) that's been a rarity at the club.
Then the fun and games will begin with a new manager search and the list of suggested names on NCM. We've done this so many times before, it's like Notts having a corner you get excited but you aren't expecting much truth be told. Hopefully the owners improved recruitment of players will extend to managers also and we get a gem. It's what we all want I'm sure.
Of course if we do get lucky and get promoted it will be despite the manager not due to him. Classic NCM lol
Happy Friday everyone![]()
To be honest cant understand most of what your rambling on about
Basically there is a group of people who thought we would be further up the league at this stage, pray each night for another win. It is them that are desperate, as they have finally caught up with the rest of us knowing that it is highly unlikely Ardley will achieve success, they know now after more than 2 years of negative and defensive football, that the clock is ticking. They prayed for more time, more time, and they got it, but soon will have to admit they were wrong all along, this is the moment i am so looking forward to,
I suspect nobody on here is surprised you don't understand
So you are against Notts managers getting more than a full season in charge, or just against the current manager having more than one full season? If they haven't succeeded after one full season, get rid? Or have I got that wrong?
If only you understood that backing a Notts manager to fail is the easy option, it's the shorter odds. You aren't alone in not understanding this. The history books tell us all that alas as we know you in particular aren't very good with facts.
Let me try and make it really clear, if you had backed every Notts manager appointed to (ultimately) fail in the past say 30 years how many times would you have been wrong? 3? 4? You can definitely count them on one hand.
Hope that helps. Basically you don't deserve a prize for stating that Notts didn't pick the right manager or manager X won't get us promoted. It's what we do, it's what most clubs do.
The same proven theory applies to player signings, play safe and say all will fail and you are going to be right more often than not. That's lower league/non league for ya.
True story.
