Pre-match meals in any programme i have seen on football is always an important part of the days preparation, so what are we doing, allowing players to please themselves, passing the sarnies around the bus, a rushed meal at the performance centre before getting on the bus, or going to a hotel where many people have been before?

I dont see this as an exception, it is a club using facilities at its disposal that i believe are infinitely safer than other clubs going to hotels, if that is what other clubs are doing.

Football teams are having to follow a set of protocols to give us the lack of entertainment we are getting just now, and that does not give any restaurant any rights to question this and encourage the general public to freely mingle. At the end of the day, its Toni Macaroni's restaurant, Toni Macaroni's team, and Toni Macaroni's baw! Maybe other clubs should be looking to match them!

Don't see why rules should be any different for toni macaroni's resturants have to be shut to try to clear the christmas mess up that's all resturants.I also thought hotels were not allowed to feed private parties either but may be wrong.Says the police are checking to see if toni macaroni opening for private party when opening for private partys is banned is breaching the law think it is.

So where is it that our team will be eating prior to the game in Dingwall tomorrow? I would have thought with the pre-match meal being an important part of a teams preparation for a game that it would be included in the protocols that teams are adhering to?

Im maybe getting it wrong here in my understanding of Livi and Toni's ownership, but as far as my knowledge allows, this isnt a restaurant opening for a 30 entitled members of the public, this is employees of a company using the facilities of another company owned by the same person.

Hotels are still being used for essential purposes and providing food for their patrons, whether that is residents or companies arranging essential meetings and training sessions. Any teams that require a meal prior to an away match im sure would come under the same rules.

We are traveling up today so should be fine in terms of those rules. Surely if they are letting professional sport carry on they need to be able to be flexible with these kind of rules?

I don't know where team will be eating tomorrow if they are booked into a hotel I would guess they will be eating there.To best of my knowledge hotels are not allowed to cater for groups of none residents but may be wrong.If resturants etc are allowed to open up and have meals for employees or employees of other companys that have links to them then that is also news to me.Is not toni macaroni that owns livingston is OPCCO6 LTD.

It should only be essential workers and those with a legitimate reason who are using hotels and those residents are provided with the meals they need. Companies/organizations who are deemed to be essential and need the use of suitable facilities for essential training, where that cannot be done around social distancing rules within said organization, they are using hotels with those facilities and catering is provided.

Like Budmill has said, if we want professional sport to continue, there has to be flexibility, and i really dont see the issue with the team who play in the Toni Macaroni stadium, having their away pre-match meal in a Toni Macaroni restaurant.

Think the problem with them having there meal in a resturant is it's against the law no matter who pays to name there stadium.Same as was against the law for rita ora to have a birthday bash.law says resturants are not allowed to open in lockdown you disagree with that fair enough but the law is the law.

Tried to find out what utd do for pre match meals in lockdown but can't find anything online I'm not to good at finding stuff.Did find a story about jim goodwins wife making sandwichs for stmirren for there match in dingwall just after christmas because they could not use hotel they had booked because of lockdown.
