Quite agree...the man is a ‘clown’ and people shouldn’t be trying to politicise someone who spent the last year of his life trying to do so much good. It’s a pity then that just one amongst us, and a visitor at that, has posted not one but two political posts on this thread.

How anyone could turn this old gents efforts into a race baiting fight was beyond me. But BLM seems to be a hero cult to you.
If ever there was man I was delighted to see Knighted for service, then this was it. Not some jumped up politician, pretending to be a man of the people.
But being an ex serviceman made him a target of white nationalism.
