"You blame the electrician"

That looks like two direct answers to your O/T direct question.
Don't mess about with electrics that's my free advice. More questions I'm happy to answer![]()

"You blame the electrician"
"The electrician"
That looks like two direct answers to your O/T direct question.

I owe you an apology I have now seen your original reply stating the electrician with the free electrical advice.
If that is the case , why do you blame Hardy for the relegation and not the guy who he employed to do a job.
A guy who had years of training for this role and the reason why he was paid good money to do the job.
The job he inherited because those who went before him had failed.
There is no question that those who went before him were deemed to have failed or he wouldn't have been offered the job of saving the club from relegation.
One last question , which I notice you've not answered
Do you think Ardley is a good manager ?

Its funny he has just p....d over his own bonfire
By admitting he would blame the electrician, he is saying Ardley is to blame, and not Hardy for appointing him hahah
And he will not answer whether Ardley s any good because, he deflects Ardleys responsibility to the chairman, the previous managers, and any other circumstances, haha
Davy , that is the whole point but I'm sure he will have an answer for the conundrum that was set.
I'm sure he will be lying in bed overnight formulating a response.
I have had to ask him if he feels Ardley is a good manager because I have never heard him outright say that he is a good manager.
He says the reason he should stay is because we keep sacking managers , not we need to keep him because he is good.
If he has then I've missed it.
And if he believes he is a good manager then why would he then be saying we need to get rid if he doesn't get him up ?
I have heard him agree that Ardleys football leaves a lot to be desired , and the same about his tactics and use of players etc
sometimes it sounds as though he's on board with the pitchfork gang to only go and spoil it and harp on about past mangers being sacked to warrant Ardley a job here still.
For me his circumstances have been good for a manager
A budget that allowed him to bring players in to fight relegation around 30 games in which to turn a relegation campaign around.(More than Sol)
A squad pre season that trained together , ok some might have signed late because of the embargo (giving a false illusion that we were ill prepared for the season) but these players that signed late were with us training and getting used to Ardleyball and his attack at all costs football !!.
And again another season where we have a generous budget and have made many signings as the season has progressed to cover injuries (a luxury not many managers have at this level)
Anyway it seems I'm still waiting for the answer to this simple question.
I know it laughable
What you will get is him rambling about things , that have got nothing to do with the question, and then blaming everybody else, and every other circumstance, he will probably say the electrician, just lost his wife, or was in debt, or was a conman like Ardley hahahah
What a double act you two have become, I didn't think I'd say this but you two a perfect for each other on here.
Before this goes any further (and it won't need to go far lol), having just read your posts Ken this morning and I've got to ask... Do you know what an analogy is? It appears not.
Oh and apology accepted, I did indeed answer the same question from you twice.
I've no idea what an anallogiggy thingy is at all?
I just asked you a straight forward question about an electrician
How you perceive a question is down to you....
But I think you highlighted a glaring contradiction when you pointed out you would sack the electrician...
I'm confused , you said I hadn't answered your question when it turns it did not once but twice?!
You said it wasn't an analogy, when your follow posts show it clearly was. Now you don't know what one is?!
Tbh Ken it's an awful analogy, like when people compare a football club to their place of work and say "if I performed or acted like that at my work is be sacked....". An electricians business is not like a football club.
To try and force a comparison my response would be if an electrician did a bad job I would blame him. However if he came from the same company that had sent two other electricians out to my house and they both did a bad job. I'd start asking some questions about their company and why their boss was hiring such substandard tradesmen.
As for your "is Ardley a good manager" question. Before I've had chance to answer it your already followed up with your thoughts. How about you show some patient and wait for the question you asked once again in the wee hours
I don't think Ardley is a good manager, I think he's an average manager. Pretty standard stuff for our level and the level above.
He's got some clear good points/positives to his management and he's got some obvious bad points/negatives. Again pretty standard stuff.
What he isn't is the "worst manager in Notts' history" as your buddy has previously stated. Now that's a comically bad analysis#noagenda. He's not even the worst manager of my lifetime of recent times.
You obviously think he's a bad manger. So a question back, who are the "good Notts managers' of the past 20 years?
What's your list of "good managers"?
I think you have to judge him by results. I believe he did a very good job at Wimbledon, yes they were struggling a bit when he left them, they are now, their trying to compete in League 1 on a very small budget.
First season with us, even though the situation was dire, I do think he probably should have kept us up.
Last season I thought was a success based on the calamity going in it, we were still building a squad Aug/Sep and that's where we lost ground.
This year he's not pulling up trees but nor is he getting it wrong, we're in contention and still not even half way. I don't believe we have a massive budget, nothing compared say to Salford and they struggled to get out and had to do it via the play offs.
