Players out of contract in the summer

    Gibbs, big earner times up.
Bartley new contract, but will have offers from other clubs.
Ivanovic, do the right thing retire now and stop stealing a big wage.
Townsend played well today , new contract and a rise.
    Kanu times up.
Grosiki hope he goes next week and save us some wages.
Peltier done well to get one this year, times up.
Edwards , not sure if will make the grade.

Would agree with that. Think we should keep Bartley - he’s fallible but committed. Townsend has been our most improved player this year. Mind we will also lose all our loaners - Maintland Nile, Yosoklu, Gallagher, Diange (unless we buy the latter for £3m). I think we will also lose Pereira and Johnstone. So it will be a re-building exercise.

I agree that a complete rebuild will be required. One big problem with that, though, it would require the ghastly little chinaman to delve into his ‘vast’ fortune (lol) to fund it. Considering his current level of interest, I assume that he will be suitably motivated so to do. Or not. Who knows how he will perceive this ‘problem’? You can be absolutely sure, though, that his solution won’t be to our liking (unless it’s just to **** off).
