Mike Dean is not everyones cup o' tea but death threats to his family?? Find the culprits and jail them. A death threat is a very serious offence and it needs dealing with the full weight of the justice system.......err hang on. That'll mean a suspended sentence then.

Name and shame the scumbags and ban them for life from their own teams games.

Couldn’t agree more Brin. I can’t believe that 3 pages of the rights and wrongs of VAR that nothing has been said about the sick individuals whose answer to everything is threats of violence. Surely the violence is a far more important issue to deal with than some insignificant technology?

Totally agree. "Faceless" cowards who feel all big and brave behind a keyboard. The internet, social media specifically, has given spineless weasels a platform to spout their bile that they would never have dared say if they had to do so face to face.

It's almost certain that the death threats are just empty, pathetic words from some sad armchair fan of a plastic premier league team. But Mike Dean, and his family, arent to know that for certain. So how they must be feeling is anyone's guess. They will be in turmoil.

The perpetrator(s) needs finding and prosecuting. I bet you a pound to a penny when they are caught and named and shamed they arent some big scary monster. Just a sad pee stain of a human with a sad, empty life.

Ps, Mike Dean is a poor ref by the way, and its legitimate to criticise his performances but to threaten him, and his family, physically? No. Just no!

I did say it’s disgusting if that helps
