(TY Nevet) Allocetra from Israel’s Enlivex Therapeutics (reported here previously) has cured the majority of the 37 seriously and critically ill Covid-19 patients in its Phase 1b and 2 trials. 33 patients were discharged from hospital an average of under 6 days after treatment.

Israeli scientists have discovered that camels can help fight cancer.

Israel’s Ben Gurion University Professor Niv Papo discovered that tiny antibodies called nanobodies, found only in camels and sharks, can penetrate hard cancerous tissue to release chemotherapy treatments. BGU has bought a camel and have now begun trials on prostate cancer.

Close to 90% of people aged 60 and older in the country have received their first dose of Pfizer’s 2-dose vaccine so far. Now, data collected by Israel’s Ministry of Health show that there was a 41% drop in confirmed COVID-19 infections in that age group, and a 31% drop in hospitalizations from mid-January to early February. In comparison, for people aged 59 and younger — of which just more than 30% have been vaccinated — cases dropped by only 12% and hospitalizations by 5% over the same time. The figures are based on analysis of roughly a quarter of a million COVID-19 infections.

Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis met with his Israeli counterpart Netanyahu during his visit to Jerusalem
Netanyahu took a vial out of his pocket, which contained medicine against COVID-19. He labelled it a “miracle drug.”
It is an inhaled preparation, which has been tested on patients in Israel and, according to Netanyahu, has spectacular results.

“If you’re infected by corona and are seriously ill and have a lung problem, take this, inhale it, and you come out feeling good,” he added.
