But the two things are linked Brian. If he wasn't in this for the money, would he be asking for a shot of £100K? No, he'd be putting that up himself or finding a way to fund it like the sheep shagger up the road is doing. I get the feeling he's starting to realise he got it just a little bit wrong. What happens in 2/3/4/5 years time when we're £6M or whatever in the red and he's had enough? Utd are a business to him and when his business fails, he bails.

And for the record, I have no issue with the Foundation giving the club money to survive. My issue is giving every penny they have to a club run by a multi millionaire who has more money than the Foundation will probably ever make in its lifetime.

There will be a point where he has put in enough and want's out if he can't turn the loss's around I agree it's the same with anyone in the world just different amounts they are willing to invest. You reckon he will bail when debts reach £6 million or so what are they now? that might not take 3 or 4 years. The more the foundation put in along with other ways of raising funds the less chance of that hitting the £6 million or whatever mark in the pandemic. You havera problem with the foundation helping the club while a millionaire also helps the club you think he should do it on his own.How much do you think he should pump in to utd before you think the foundation should try to help out?He has already put in £4.7 million plus money he paid to buy club and whatever he has put in since accounts not sure how much altogether but to me loads of money to you obviously not enough money. How much do you reckon he has put in altogether? How much do you reckon he is worth? How much do you think he should put in before he asks the foundation to help?

The answer to all those questions I'm sure you could find somewhere. I really can't be bothered trying to find out. It's a concern that two years after buying the club he's on the borrow for such a small amount in the grand scheme of things. It's a concern he see us as a money making project. Its a concern he's taking all of the Foundation money without finding other avenues of income. Its a concern he wants football stopped. Its a concern he's putting all his faith in running our club in a football agent. Its all a bit of a concern.

The media never hammered United for asking fans for more money, they mainly focussed on the wages to turnover ratio and the debt on the last balance sheet. We were laughed at on Radio Scotland for criticizing both government's for lack of financial support when we were already millions in the red before the pandemic arrived.
From what i can remember at the time we were praised for our efforts in supporting the club but the owner and his Sporting Director left us open to ridicule and even the Funsters jumped in,that's what really happened.

Great post. When the vote came through and the DUSF agreed to put more money into the club did the owner go to bed that night thinking thank phuck we're saved?,i don't think so.Its more likely he thought i feel better now that its not just me losing money on this business.
What he fail's to acknowledge is many of the fans who put money into his business did so not knowing if we were promoted, not knowing if they would be allowed to take their seat, not knowing if they would have a job in the coming months and not even knowing if they would survive the pandemic to ever set foot in Tannadice again.
Rather than asking for more money publicly Mark and Tony should have issued a statement saluting the backing the fans gave to the club which when you add it all up was unprecedented in the club's history.

So really you are slagging the owner for not just writting blank checks over and over till he runs out of his millions when you don't know how much he has pumped in you just know it's not nearly enough you don't know how much he is worth and how much spare cash he has to keep pumping in if any.He may have other business's that he is also pumping money into just now.He has said from the start he saw us as a money making venture why has that just started bothering you?Don't think he has taken all the foundations money think he has been given or lent foundations money big difference as most foundation members were happy to help club.Agree with the nonsense about wanting football stopped think that was just toys out the pram about hearts etc getting our money from scottish goverment while they were getting millions from there foundation and more from benefactors while us and others were getting nothing from our tax money.

Yeah some trolling funsters tried to make out that the foundation helping utd was a bad thing looking for a bite and seems they got it.

Everyone of fans who have helped and are still helping the club through this have done great like the money they paid for seasons etc but don't think any have put anything like the owner in to save our club and keep it going.I personally would thank him for the money he has invested and keeps investing it has done a lot more to help utd than my season money and other wee bits I do to help.It is also my club has been for a long time so would expect me and others to rally and buy seasons and give donations etc while he is just a business man trying to make a few bob.

If we think the Covid crisis is bad with Big Tone and the Ogrens in charge, just picture what it would have been like had the Snake still had his grubby mittens on our Club. It would have been a phucking schitshow.

Mate, for the second time, I'm not slagging the owner. I'm concerned at how our club is being run.

Anyway, you're a very hard man to have a balanced debate with so I'll leave it there. Enjoy your day.
