    Fixtures over next fortnight

If you look at the upcoming fixtures over the next fortnight there is a real prospect of a clear divide being created between the bottom 5-6 (as they stand), and all the rest (yes the same applies to the top 6, but after all our survival/prosperity is the chief concern).

Not so much a set of top clubs against bottom, but lower/bottom against each other and shedding points accordingly.

    Strange how the dice falls.

Would be handy if it unfolded that way. Distance maintained from the bottom of the ladder....but probably means the top echelon push further away also. In essence though, that would mean even less pressure in the final third of the season, and even more opportunity to blood more youngsters with match time. No real excuses for not doing so in that scenario.

My big hope is that we will get into that mid table zone of no Europe and no relegation and play some of the youth as well as some of the players that we'll have to make decisions on in the off season. if not else get them exposure for offers or loans.

would really like to see Strujik get time at CB as well as some of the other U-23's at half, striker and wing defenders. would be nice to see how Phillips does with them.

I'd like to see Meslier play out the rest of the season. The more experience he gets the better.

Wolves, Southampton and Villa sees the month out, then Spam, Chelsea and Fulham in March; followed in April with Sheffield, Man City, Liverpool, Man U and May = Brighton, Tottenham, Burnley, Southampton and West Brom.

Feb - 4 points, March 3 points, April 3 points, May 6 points (could be less if Bielsa starts playing a development team once we are 100 percent staying up). 48 points in total, a negative goal average and tenth in the league.
