Despite an attempt in some quarters to knock down the positivity of this vaccine role out, another number from within a cohort start making their appearance. Just in case you dont know how these figures relate to the Cohort, i will outline them here.

Cohort 1, Older residents in care homes - estimate exceeded, and their carers 92%.
Cohort 2, Over 80s - estimate exceeded, Frontline NHS and Social Care workers - Estimate exceeded.
Also within the above 2, 95% of adults and 79% of staff in all care homes were also vaccinated.
    Cohort 3, 75-79 yo - estimate exceeded,
    Cohort 4, People aged 70-74 - 90% (88), Clinically Extremely vulnerable - first report already at 80%.
    Cohort 5, People aged 65-69 64% (58)
Cohort 6, 16-64 with underlying health issues i believe is also progressing.
Cohort 7, 60-64 which i believe is also progressing.

All of the above are on track to be completed sometime in the first week in March, then Cohorts 8 and 9 which is 50-59yo to be vaccinated by some time in May, although i believe the desire is to have it done before then depending on supply.

I would define myself as cohort 6 but I haven't heard anything yet. I'm actually being quite cynical about it and it would not surprise me in the least if lower levels start getting offered it before me. If I'm wrong I'll be first to come on here and say.

I'm cohort 7 terry and not heard anything either did not think they had started on 6 and 7 when only half way through 5 and not finished 4.I thought they would do majority of 5 before they started on 6 etc. Knew there would be a bit of an overlap but starting on 7 before half way through 5 does not make sense?

Well Terry I'd put myself in 6 as well but perhaps someone thought differently got mine a week passed Saturday. Felt crap for a couple of days after and headaches for about a week. Seems a bit of a hit or a miss some people have no after effects its pot luck

Strictly speaking it's Sir Patrick Vallance and the UK task force you have to thank
