What actually happened here is Scotland stuck to the JCVI priority list and made sure care home residents were done first and foremost. So when Scotland had done over 90% of this group England's figure was about 68%. Given this group are the most at-risk I think this was reasonable.

Yeah agree the people who need it most should get it first. There was nothing to stop them giving to others while going round care homes though.Heard the bit about Britian was not giving them there fair share so they could not do enough people but that turned out to be false news.Think they have all admitted now that they were a bit slow to get of the mark but did get their act together and are doing great now as I said.Glad you are getting you're jab tonight.

They were delivering the vaccine to others while prioritizing care homes though. As supply allowed, they were delivering vaccines to all care home residents and staff and not just the older care home residents and staff. At the same time they were vaccinating the NHS and social care frontline workers. There was 75000 excess vaccinations delivered during that time as well, with our very own Gunboat answering a late call!

Not sure where you are getting the fair share thing from as i dont remember seeing that. I do remember Ruth and the million allocation argument, but that was spinning the figures and really makes her look like a fool with the figures we are seeing now! Wish her paymasters would publish in depth data like we do, although we could do better!

I dont think any country in our union can be guilty of being slow in this though!

Yeah thats what I thought they would do others at same time as care homes numbers just were not up with other three home nations at start which they did rectify after it was pointed out and think they even did better than other home nations on certain occasions.I am not slagging them you seem like usual looking for an argument and can't really be bothered to be honest. They did say they were not getting enough vaccine to give out while all other home nations were doing better then admited they did have enough to do more thats where the getting a fair share comes from.I thought we were ruth's paymasters but obviously like usual you know different.Have said Scotland are now doing great but don't let that get in you're way of an arguement.I am really not interested in you're opinion I don't even usually read you're posts unless they are addressed to me or quote what I have posted looking for a silly little argument like usual.
