I'm reading now that next Monday Boris will be announcing that, despite the succesful vaccine roll out, we're still a long way from ending the restrictions and returning to normal. I had the first jab in order to speed up the return to normality and get myself and Mrs S on a Med cruise. If it's not going to happen, I simply won't be going for my 2nd jab, if I'm not allowed out to restaurants, to visit my family, to go on holiday, what's the point of being vaccinated ? None whatsoever as far as I'm concerned. Up to you Boris.

I won't go into a long dialogue on this sinkov, but by now 18 million adults have been vaccinated, 10 million are already immune because they have had a brush with corona, 5 million are naturally immune, 20 million more are under the age of 20 and are virtually immune. So let's go on the cautious side and say 50 million of us are virtually immune from the real nasty side effects of COVID-19 and the government don't give a flying phuck about the other 15 million, so why not go immediately towards full on herd immunity and let folks start to live again?

Despite his "best efforts", we have experienced Europe's worse pandemic management with 110 thousand deaths attributed to COVID-19 in the UK since last March, so why not let the dogs loose and let the economy and the rest of us Rock'n'Roll?

I'm flummoxed, I really am and still see no point in having my body violated with the addition of some dodgy chemistry.

Boris is just the tip of the iceberg BT, in a way I feel for him, he's under enormous pressure from the Lockdown Brigade to keep this farce up and running. The pressure is building already, the media are full of it this morning, I had BBC R6 Music on going into Clitheroe, the news came on and, sure enough, some woman from the NHS was wheeled on to say that the NHS was still under enormous pressure, it will be for at least another 6 weeks, no mention of the fact that the numbers in hospitals has been falling for over 4 weeks and are now just 50% of what they were a month ago. And these doom-mongers, and yes I know, in Morecambe they'd be called experts, are going to be wheeled out by the BBC at every opportunity between now and next Monday.

Beside the Grauniad and the BBC, the Twitterati will be kicking up if he announces an ending to restrictions might be in sight, so will Facebook, so will Starmer and the Labour Party, the slimeball LibDems and the SNP. Then he'll have the Mad Scientists of Sage on his case with their ludicrous forecasts, some of them are circulating already, telling him mustn't relent now, never mind the economy and the thousands of poor buggers being put out of work, businesses going down the pan, cancer patients desperate for treatment, and the millions of ordinary people desperate just to book a friggin holiday.

There is a vast army out there opposing him BT, they are clever, ruthless, inveterate liars, they have the media stitched up and they're used to getting their own way, what is the poor bugger supposed to do ? Saint Margaret would have seen this crew off before breakfast, but sadly Boris isn't even half the man she was.

Where can I get my green passport?
The passport can be downloaded via the traffic-light smartphone application, the Health Ministry’s traffic-light website, or via the ministry call center.

How do I use the app?
Download the app to your Apple or Android phone. Update your personal details, including personal ID number, or passport number, phone number and birth date. Confirm that the information is correct and a code will be sent to your phone. Input the code to confirm. The application will verify for your staff and present you with an animated green passport.

And what about through the website?
On the website, update your personal details and you will be issued with a printable green passport certificate that includes a scannable QR code.
“Unlike the vaccinated and recovering card, this is a high-security code with a digital signature, we have consulted with quite a few information security consultants to issue a secure green passport.”
People who call the hotline can have the passport sent to them via email, text or even snail mail.

How will establishments check if I am allowed to enter?
When you arrive at a store or other places of business, you will be asked to present your green passport. The printout can be presented for scanning, or the app can be opened and the digital confirmation presented. You will be asked to present your ID card, too.
Business owners can scan the QR code on your certificate via the application, but not using other standard scanning apps.

For how long is the green passport valid?
The green passport will be valid for six months from one week after the second dose.

Can children get a green passport?
Children who have recovered can receive a green passport and enter the same places as their parents without being tested. Their passport will appear on their parents’ passport.

“You should get vaccinated now,” Edelstein warned, because it takes about four weeks to reach maximum immunity and receive your green passport. “It is our duty to take care of the health of all Israel’s citizens, and we will not compromise on that.”

I had to smile at one of the main reasons the government might be a bit reluctant to get involved with Covid passports or vax certificates. It's the shockingly low vax take up amongst the BAME population, they obviously don't want a situation where us whiteys, BT excepted, can go on holiday, go to the pub or cinema, while the BAMEs have to remain at home, not allowed out. Ghettoeised in other words, BLM would have a field day with that wouldn't they. Mass immigration could yet be the saving of us.

I haven't had the 2nd one yet Norder, if there aren't any holidays to be had, then I might not be having the 2nd one. I'll have to see on Monday, is Boris going to be back in charge, or is he going to allow the Mad Scientists of Sage to continue wrecking the country ?
