there all in on it - Kriti....cannot trust government or their advisors, they either get funding (Financial incentives) or have investment that ammounts to nterests that'll influence decision making - nothing new really, people imagine that when they Vote for a new PM/Party - that there's nothing behind them, when in reality, it's whoever's pulling their strings, the City, the bankers, the big corporations - those that if they like - how the power to Ruin - it's they who set the agenda - what we see are just the Puppets.

some good news - (but the mainstream has made little of it of course)

Health secretary Matt Hancock acted unlawfully by handing out coronavirus contracts without publishing details in a timely way, a High Court judge has ruled.

The High Court has ruled “The Secretary of State acted unlawfully by failing to comply with the Transparency Policy” and that “there is now no dispute that, in a substantial number of cases, the Secretary of State breached his legal obligation to publish Contract Award Notices within 30 days of the award of contracts.” We have won the judicial review we brought alongside Debbie Abrahams MP, Caroline Lucas MP, and Layla Moran MP.

.... A row has broken out over Boris Johnson’s hopes for a “big bang” reopening of schools, as sources claimed it had run into resistance from Prof Chris Whitty.

The chief medical officer for England was said to be reluctant to put his name to a public show of support for the policy this week. Education sources had told the Guardian that Whitty was “very unhappy” with the idea of all 10 million children and staff returning to schools in England on 8 March, although the government denied this and insisted that Whitty was not opposed to any of the options being discussed. But intellect is running the show N'est-ce pas?

Whitty mentioned this at the Press Briefing, he said it wasn't the case and had told the journalist who wrote the story that it was untrue, but the paper published the story anyway.

And which paper was it publishing what it knew perfectly well was FAKE NEWS ? No prizes for guessing it was the Lefty bible the Grauniad. And yet there are some people who hang onto every word the lying rag prints, they swear by it. Ah well.

I occasionally take a bit of notice of your missives sinkov and actually managed to work out the probable source of your anti-left wing venom.

As a result I subscribed to the "Spectator" for a year and they sent be a rather nice bottle of Bollinger as a "Thank you". All it's done however, is cause a metronomic increase in my blood pressure and ensured I go to my "Anger Management" classes again.

By Christ, that Rod Liddle writes some $hite!

Arse about face with that analysis BT, my contempt for the Left has grown over a lifetime of observing, and sometimes being involved, in the political scene. it's that considered judgement of the virtue-signalling, loony left that led to my Spectator subscription, not the other way round.

And you leave Rod alone, my hero, he cuts through Lefty BS like a knife through butter, absolute top man, the UK's Number One journo, scourge of the Loony Left PC Brigade. Have you seen his last paragraph this morning, about Lammy, worth the sub just for that, if you can't access it, I'll copy and paste it for you.
