Point would have been fair, some tough games looming.
    Meslier unlucky with goal
    Roberts, surely on borrowed time
Shack, loads of effort, sadly looks like Championship is his level
Costa, Hernandez, maybe times up, certainly would improve wage bill
Ideal match for Gelhardt, last 10 mins, nothing to lose

On the plus side I thought Meslier was good tonight - he came for (and caught) high balls, made some good saves and his distribution was much better. He was unlucky with a freak goal but Traore should have been stopped (or chopped) long before he got his shot away.

Cooper should have had a bloody hattrick. Raphiniha put some great balls into the box from free kicks and we didn't get on the end of them. Costa missed a sitter at the end - imagine my surprise. Roberts played better than usual but is still nowhere near good enough. I am a bit concerned that Shackleton may not be good enough for this level either; he ran around a lot but didn't actually do much. Harrison was poor compared to his usual standards; Klich annonymous again.

Just before Barndoor's disallowed goal one of their players clearly pulled back Roberts by his armso why wasn't it taken back for a free kick and why wasn't the defender booked?

    Oh well. onwards and upwards.

    On the minus side.
Those are games when we really should be getting something.
Played well, hard luck, another day, etc, doesn’t cut the mustard.

Sounds like a whole lot of "we was robbed" to me. Ok, so I didn't actually see any of it, but possession, shots, shots on target etc etc e-f00king-tc we were on top and yet we come away with nothing. Not good enough, not by a f00king long chalk and if anyone thinks otherwise then they will be satisfied with championship next season.

    Thanks for the links lads.

Cant understand this VAR cr@p. First look its offside, linesmen is sure, Ref wants to give it offside too. Happy days, move on, no need for VAR to stop the game!
But no! they decide to look anyway, and when it shows its actually much closer than they thought and hattrick Patrick IS actually in line, they call it off anyway! bizarre.

    Deserved a point.
Best aspect, we stopped with this pissing around at the back.

We didn't piss about at the back because Wolves dont press like Arsenal - or any team that wants to exploit our weaknesses have done.
It will be a different thing again when we come up against teams that press our back four like Arsenal and Manure did.

Thought we did well to stay keep up with Wolves first 1/2. Their quality of passing, first touch, pace showed where we aspire to be.

Kind of got the impression that their were a few of our players trying to play like Raphina, trying to beat players with a few flicks & tricks that didn't work. They need to stick with what they are good at.

Was concerned how easily Wolves cut through us, but think that was because due to in experience in the DM role we either got caught out of position or backed off too much.

We were unlucky with Traores goal, thought it was a super shot. We look very comfortable defending set pieces now and look very threatening when we have our own.

Very unlucky not to get a point, but very pleased with how we competed with them and on another day we would have got the win as we had the best clear chances to score.

Traore is a bull. Strong, skilful player. Looks like he could bench press 400lbs.
