Mate you’re honestly getting really boring. You go almost completely off the grid when we win and then a torrent of abuse when we are losing or the keeper getting sent off. We know your view, it’s like MIG about Hardy, there’s no Ardley disciples here but mainly balanced views on where we are as a club with the manager and team. It’s a good job no one told any of the other teams we play possession based footy, as they would have just pressed us and we’d have zero wins, PHEW

It's been said many times, Kyle 95. Ardley has no answer to a high press. He's seen us lose so many times to this tactic but as yet it's got him beat.

Whatever your opinion, one thing is certain. If we are going to win this league (which I still think is possible) then this 2nd half performance will be a good marker for hunger and desire. If we can put in a brilliant 45 mins now it will prove to me that we are capable. If we approach the 2nd half like the 1st, then it demonstrates to me that we're just a playoff team and are too inconsistent.

Why is the ref giving Chesterfield as much time as they like to take a throw-in. Yes, its like an Andy Legg special, but they are taking ages getting everyone forward and making it like a corner. If any other player took this long in any other game to take a normal throw in they would be booked for time wasting. Yes, use the long throw-in, but they should not be allowed to hold up play while they get everyone forward and in position.

And then, only 2 minutes injury time ?

    Sort it out ref !

Got my knife into Pilling I'm afraid.. Says a lot when he's been at Tranmere since a kid and played about 5 times. Looks like an accident waiting to happen every time they go forward.
I've wrote this game off already. I just hope it's no more than 3-0.

Oh right. I'll pipe down then mate because you don't like what I say.

Terrible, terrible half. No pace or urgency, poor passing, second in every tackle. We simply cannot play against the high press or energy sides. Chesterfield clearly done their homework. Come on Notts bloody sort this out please!!

    Shocking Notts.
Completely dominated by Chesterfield as M Stallard said.

Something very special needed to get 3 points from this game.
Look anything but a promotion team so far today.

Lose today and Tuesday at Stockport could be a massive spanner in the works.

If ever there was a test of Ardleys' managerial/motivational/tactical abilities then this is it. Lets see what he's got.

Yeah, the quality isn't there for playing out sometimes...

That's not just on the likes of Miller, who's looked really rattled but Doyle and Reeves - they have to receive and give the ball and we haven't seen much of that
