I hate being critical of players but I think I’ve seen enough of Sam to make a judgement regardless of adjustment time to English football. If I was the owners/Ardley I would be hell bent on looking for a goal scoring forward whatever the cost.

Hard to judge. He hasn't really had enough game time yet in all fairness. When he was starting a bit more regularly he looked pretty good. Think he's probably a bit of a mard-arse and doesn't like being on the bench but who knows?

Some good some bad in this years transfers but I'm not convinced this team is any better than last year, if as good?

In fairness the front two of Sam and Wootton have had nothing but minor scraps today. We have suffered from a chronic lack of creativity and threat in the final third which is why we are goal shy. Now in the past couple of minutes Cheaterfield are sniffing a counter attack to seal this one.

That is the problem we've had all season, we do not create enough chances.

So many of our goals have come through either moments of magic or mistakes from the opposition.

There won't be a reaction. Ardley said he's been 'Mr. Angry' this week. Clearly it's had and inspirational effect. We are lucky to have such a talented motivator in our ranks.

We could have Mbappe up there...but it would make no difference as we spend most of the game passing the ball around in our own half.

We don't create chances. Wootton has had nothing again today.

I agree, Enzio and Rodriguez should be doing better, Chesterfield sat back now, regardless of who the manager is, when a team sits back at the very least you have to deliver the right ball in, even better go one on one and take out players, their not doing it.

If we lose this it will not be the defence's fault as you can't keep a clean sheet every game. We have a chronic shortage of goals this season and this is what could cost us today. I hope we can nick something but bringing Effiong on for the last five minutes just seems too little too late to make an impact. I've said that so I'm proven wrong and he scores.
