Probably the most disappointing performance of the season for me and we deserved nothing from that game at all. We did not test the keeper once in the entire game. To be fair to Cheaterfield they did a job on us by pressing, working hard, giving us no time on the ball and nullified any threat because we did not have the dominance of play or possession. We did not have anywhere near the quality, energy, creativity or spark to overcome that in the final third as has been the case many times this season.

It's games like today where our lack of creativity and ability to score more goals is going to cost us points. It puts more pressure on us getting a result against Stockport next.

There is no doubt about it we are far weaker up top this season having lost Thomas and Dennis. If we fail to get promoted this will be one of the key reasons.

Some some reason Ardley cannot see this but whilst ever Doyle is allowed to control play, we will struggle and the forwards will have very few goal-scoring opportunities and we will have to rely on the odd occasion when either Enzio, Rodrigues (or Roberts when available) produce a flash of brilliance. WE cannot rely on this to get us promoted. Ardley have to see sense or move on.
I whole heartedly agree with this. Some on here will tell you that he is the Messiah, but I think he is the root of all our problems.

I feel as lethargic as that performance, can't be bothered, how typically Ardley was that

We’re still a decent striker and midfielder short of mounting a serious promotion challenge, in my eyes. Please send Wolfe back if he’s never going to get game time in the league and bring someone in who can actually get on the ball and drive us forward.
What is the point in bringing in another midfielder? We could bring in De Bruyne and Foden and even then Doyle and Reeves would be first choice. They would be sat on the bench if they were lucky enough to even make the squad.

It seems yet again Ardley is looking to sign another player. When are the owners going to wise up and say enough is enough? No other manager in the league is getting this sort of backing. It's time Neal started to get the best out of the talent he already has. We have been winning games badly for weeks, obviously it's great to win but the manner in which we've been winning is worrying. I really want to be wrong as i can't stand this dire league, but i just don't think Ardley is the man to take us up. On top of that Michael Bloody Doyle, i don't doubt he's good to have around, but he's not good enough to play anymore all he does is slow the play down. If you were to ask Notts fans what his best performance has been, they will say when he went in goal that's shocking.

If Ardley is the issue then we seriously need to work out the replacement. This isn’t a Munto season issue as that team had at least 4 players that were questionable playing 2 divisions below themselves and we needed Mcparland to move aside. The positive viewpoint is I don’t think anyone’s naturally going to run away with the season, some similar budgets others not as much but the hard work starts now.

If we are going to make the change a small minority are demanding we have a few to choose from. The one who sticks out is Graham Alexander. Experience in this matter with Salford who he took up from this league. A very strong leader on the field as a player and a successful manager of it. He is a great fit if the club are pressured to go that way

The only thing Ardley has done consistently since being here is put on inept performances, even when we have won games

Cousins step son played for him at Fleetwood & Salford . I still wouldn't mind Gary Flitcroft. Don't care about how boring his interviews are. It's on the pitch that counts

No chance of that, he's the manager of Motherwell.
