He would be useful if ever the team bus wouldn’t start.

So after watching the match live i think to myself,we werent on it tonight had a good old moan, So just watched highlights again on MOTD and how the hell did we not win this game,Cooper could have had a hattrick ffs, Their keeper given MOM,

I think the ball went in off the back of Meslier’s head too as he was lifting it up.

That was a game that showed we are as good as the group of teams that tend to occupy 6th to 14th which is good.

I am bewildered as to how Bamford is offside. His whole torso and feet are well onside.

Easy answer.......VAR and the muppets who draw up/implement the rules

To simplify the "offside" rule, and make it an easy decision for the Ref/VAR, why not introduce a simple understandable definition - ie - If Either foot, or part of a foot is beyond the last defender then you are offside. End of - no elbows, backsides, forearms above the sleeve, kneecaps etc etc etc - who could argue then?

Too obvious to ever happen though spose

One other thing that has (mildly) bothered me about VAR is the determination of exactly when the ball is played and how it is then matched to the appropriate image used for the offside call.

Is the video refresh rate fast enough for the “precision” they’re claiming? Is the time the ball is played based on sound or image?

I’d be surprised if all of their decisions would stand up to genuine scientific analysis.

Especially our ones. Not that I’m bitter. Much.
