What a frustrating game this has been. We played very well first half, should have been ahead without a shadow of doubt and then anything that could go against us, went against us. Second half they score a worldy and it’s game over and we’ve fallen out of it, perfectly summed up with Benji’s brainfart. Plenty positives still, bearing in mind we were away against the team who are going to win the league.

As I write, McNulty has finally stuck one away which is the least they deserve for their efforts today however Pawlett and Sporle back next week please MM.

How can MM even think to create a confidence around the side by binning players who have done well in a winning side?

Too many players hid today. The difference in workrate between the two side was obvious. Even Morelos who I dislike kept going and following through with the intention to get the ball resulting in the goal1

The only time Clark actually made the physical challenge over on the left resulted to a change in direction, and McNulty scoring.

First time this season I feel like I'm done with this manager. I know its just emotions running high, but that's how pissed off with that team selection I am today. I really thought he'd realised there was a reason we'd just won two games in a row. Cannot get my head around him reverting back to playing Clark in front of the midfield.

Hopefully and MM will listen, this came about because Clark actually put in a physical tackle.

Could have been a lot better, but could have been a lot worse. To be fair to Mellon his tactics were pretty effective first 35 mins, so I can't complain, though I really don't want to see Clark in midfield. Some scrappy soft goals conceded, think Siegrist was trying to be too clever at the 4th, and free shot for the third.

I was working today so haven't seen a thing. I did get team news at the start on my phone, stared at it, shook my head and waited for the goals against to go up. Why can't he see Clark is not a midfielder. Why didn't he change it when it was obvious his set up wasn't working. Very frustrating.

Regarding Clark, agree I’m not getting why he was parachuted back in for Sporle but TBF to the manager, if we get ourselves in front in that first half hour as we could and should have done, then we wouldn’t have been complaining. We played very well for the bulk of that first half.

I thought what changed the game against us (as well as a ridiculous run of bad luck) was Jack going off injured for Kamara on the half hour mark. Sevco seemed to gradually get a grip in the middle of the park from therein after where previously I thought Fuchs and Butcher were running that show. Good player Kamara - i.i.r.c. Sevco got him for a pittance but presumably the selling Club made sure there was a sizeable sell on fee in the deal. I mean what Club would be so stupid not to insist on that??

It was so unfair on Sporle today as his goal helped dig the manager oot the shyte,he was only in the shyte in the first place for persisting with Clark in the midfield and unbalancing the whole side.
To go back to that today was nothing short of criminal,we let The Rangers aff the hook as i'm sure Sporle would have had a field day against a player who is not a right back.

Play Clark up front , or don't play him at all. It's a shame, but a no brainer.
Harkes.. great pass last game, try getting involved instead of just running along side players.
Shanks... one on ones, try the first option ......

    Just an opinion...
