But they are trying to stay in the division. When we beat Preston 3 weeks ago nobody said we weren't trying then did they? When we had a good spell. We were trying then and we are trying now. If we go down it isn't automatically because we haven't given it everything. We have tried but within our financial means. That means less money to throw at it than others, just how it is.

We could of got 3 guys in on 10k a week, maybe we would stay up with them, maybe we wouldn't. If we did then brilliant, go from there. If we didn't we could end up stuck with players on huge wages in league 1, hard to shift, perhaps unsettle the team and the long term knock on could be huge for the club. It is all a calculated gamble, prudence over all in perhaps but we still have a team to compete in the 3rd tier again if it doesn't quite work. Then maybe we get another go and we are that bit better from this time around.

Last time I thought we threw towel in, I agree this time we are trying to stay up and I still believe we will unless we have anymore bloody injury issues

'Then maybe we get another go and we are that bit better from this time around'.......he said that last time.

No one has said get 3 players in on 10k a week, where have you got that from? You'll never see a player on £10k a week ever again in Tony Stewarts tenure.
